Ryan was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, where he and his loving family reside. With a lifelong desire to go to law school and become an attorney, Ryan has made investments toward achieving that goal.

Ryan attended the William Hawley Atwell Law Academy and graduated from the Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet at the Townview Magnet Center in Dallas, Texas.

Ryan later received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas. During his college years, he worked multiple jobs, including an internship with Vinson & Elkins LLP, a role with the African American Museum in Dallas, and as a plaintiff’s personal injury law paralegal. Ryan built fraternal bonds during his tenure as SMU Student Senate African American Senator, and while serving various organizations that uplift the SMU community and spirit.

Ryan continues to gain experience in the legal field through his work as a civil defense paralegal with The Bassett Firm.

He attributes all his academic success, family growth, and life ambitions to his faith which keeps him grounded and determined.
