This week the Texas Supreme Court issue two opinions and no grants.

The first case arose from a dispute between Oncor Electric Delivery Co. and the Public Utility Commission of Texas, and the Court tackled the issue of whether the state-college discount provision of the Texas Utilities Code applies to transmission utilities in deregulated areas.

The Second case involved an oil and gas dispute, and the Court addressed the proper scope of the reasonable probability test employed by trial courts in determining whether a pipeline will be used to transport gas for an unaffiliated entity.
